the first unraveling

the art of abstract expression through mindset

welcome.

you found your way here, and that’s not by accident. this space—drop extract—isn’t about perfection or performance. it’s about presence. curiosity. the slow unraveling of thoughts, moments, and moods that don’t always make sense, but still matter.

this is for the ones who feel deeply but say little. who move quietly, but think loudly. who’ve always felt there’s more to life than what’s being said out loud.

for my first entry, i wanted to start where everything else begins: mindset.

not in the motivational, pinterest-board kind of way. but in the real way—the gritty, unfiltered way. the way your mind can shape your entire existence, without you even realizing it.

discipline used to feel impossible to me. structure was something I avoided. i lived in a constant flow of spontaneity—somewhere between impulse and intuition. but here’s what I’ve learned:

a bad mindset will hold you back, sure.

but not trying? not even giving yourself the chance to experience something wild, raw, or new?

that’s worse.

so here’s something to try:

do something this week you would never do.

see how it feels.

write about it. talk about it. or don’t—just sit with it.

would you do it again?

did it shift something in you?

did you feel more awake?

sometimes, all it takes is a small, defiant choice to completely alter your inner world. so start there. and maybe keep going.

this is just the beginning.

xx,

LB

Feeling Good by Julie London

Forget Nina’s version—Julie’s is sultrier, more mysterious. It’s the sound of waking up powerful after being quiet too long. Total first-unraveling energy.
